THIS WINTER IS REALLY COLD, ***IT'S FREEEEEEZING*** .ONE OF MY CLIENT WAS SPELLING AT THE FACE BOOK. IT REALLY REMINDS ME ABOUT COLD WHEN I WAS LITTLE KID IN EUROPE.
THIS IS A REAL TRUE STORY.
Every time we have cold winter I remember when I was in High school in West Berlin approx. around 15 years old, had a small bedroom like a closet in 3 th floor facing the East Berlin wall at the Luckourstrasse. The Russian soldiars they use to look to our side over the wall and I could see them from my old window "something like we wanna go to there side". Actually solders was watching from East Berlin Deutche Democratische Republic was under Russen power not to run to Our West Berlin side.They was watching behind the wall and watch us all the time 24 hours a day. Some winter It was so cold you couldn't breath below minus degree. I was wandering all those winter.I remember we didn't have no heat, old after World war II buildings and windows was original. I could see open space between the window and the wall.
Cold wind was blowing into my closet bedroom. I use to cover all around me lieve extremly small spat that I could just breath and nothing not even this freezing cold scared me. I remember one of those cold winter early saturday somebody was nacken the door.
I stand up, quick put my jacet an and open the door. it was one of my little sister Turkish girl friend saying she want to talk to my sister. I sad "today is saturday she is sleeping upto 8am". She sad "in our apartment is very cold, I just want to say good bye forever, I don't think I will make it, I feel so cold I am going to hospital now."
I sad ok I will tell my sister leater. I close the door and I run into my bed because it was really one of those winter so could ***FREEEZING**. Every time I have to stand up I have to be very fast because in a few seconds body temperature goes so fast down I can feel it under my skin my bones is frozen.

After a week so I heard she is gone in hospital. I never can forget that little girl face. It's approx. 40 Years past.Everytime I go back to Berlin West for a week I go to the Luckourstrasse, Segitsdamm Strasse I have tears under my Sunglass. I try to hide it. I walk all around the block. I was looking the wall. "Where are the walls??. I knew I seen on Tv.There is no more Walls. I remember some nights I use to wake up in the midnight with mashine gun sounds. I was watching behind my window ""women, man and kid on the floor not moving, who want to run our side to West Berlin. It was dark suddenly strong Lights and The solders take them away so quick. So many people died.
It's all about FREEDOM. I never think they will take the walls down. I had a DREAM. When i wasgoing to beginning of the College on of our professor was saying hey guys go to East berlin and compare mechanic books they really have the good ones too. One day in our Building old German couple ask me you Guys are AUSLANDER you have a right to visit East Berlin . I give you adress Food and money please you bring to my relative. We 3 Auslander friends just bought Brand new Bicycles went to East Berlin. As soon we went East Berlin everybody was looking to our Bicycle . When we live front of the Lunch restaurant so many people circuled start to watch that they never one . We order lunch but somany jung people was looking to us like they really was hungry. We realize and order for them too. They told us they get fruit one and a year.They all work but they pay the appartment ,clothing bread and butter but NO Luxury TV, car, No freedom. I went to drop the fod and money . They was so happy. I realize this people didn't have No life. Comig back home I had 10 East German Mark. Just before going to Berlin wall I seen couple walking on the street. i stop and give them the 10 Mark I had left. I seen cuple both watery eyes. This walls goes down all those innocent people will have the Freedom. I just wishing and praying the God to happend. when I seen an TV in new York they took the walls down
I sad "thank you God" I always remember those cold freezing winters frozen walls . This Old buildings they all renovated now.
They all have a standing shower now. We didn't had 40 years ago. My old student friend we study together we was crusing in West Berlin Avenues
I just could remember some buildings are renovated many of the they Build the new ones. One of them sad ok guys we going where we started 30 years ago.Suddenly we park right front of the College Building. Yes they rebuild it but I remember this Building I was runnng in the mornings and I was always earlier. . I never miss any classe. I didn't want to be late. I enjoy every minute of it. This is Fachhochschule where we became Engineer. We stop front of the Fach Hochschule Building. We seen lots a Students had a break was exidet talking each other about the Lab-tests .
One of my friend he sad "we was the same way like them.
We all was smiling and thinking they are our futur Engineers. What a beautifull unforgetable years we had.
I had an appointment yesterday a seller retiring and draw all the way down to Long island.Going there I draw trough from Whitestone, Bayside,Fresh Meadows, Little Neck every Block I have every season memories. I remember every Sellers and Buyers are happy all the faceses smiling at the closing.
First 7 years I was working in New York as a Aircraft Inspector . I learn quick the dictianary under my arm . In order to measure close tolerance need it strong math to inspect the Aircraft parts. I new I could reach highest level but I resurch and Iern how to lern and switche to became licensed Real Estate agent.Success doesn't come for FREE. I know getting the Loan for the buyers is extremly important. It's all about Mid Credit scores and last 2 years Income Tax return.. Ones they are qualified next is the negotiation. Going contract is ones, closing is another. It looks easy but lots of work is involved. I always UPDATE ALL the REAL ESTATE RULES, STATE LAWS.That's one of the reason I am sucessfull.
I sold so many houses Buildings I stop counting. I remember every seller and buyers All around mother nature 4 season.
From Queens, Brooklyn and Long island.
This winter is more COLD, snow an top of it with rain. After Long Island appointment I had another appointment to show as a Buyers Agent. New Buyer with little girl and parents they all talking "this is my bedroom. No No that is your bedroom."Brand New renovated from top to bodem! This house is really warm like every other houses and Buildings I sold all those years in New York. The little girl was looking into my eyes with the smile but she was not moving. I remember same look and little smile like in Berlin saturday early morning. I try to hide my eyes, runn outside my eyes was watery. I went back to house.I told her "you never ever will feel cold again. I promiss you.".
No matter how much cold, Snow with rain we have, "I LOVE YOU MORE THEN EVER " Sweat New York Home, Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Berlin West!
